Question about Pinnacle Breakout Box & Drivers for DV500-DVD (210100180)
I have been using my kworld atsc 310u on windows xp without problems using the (not so good) media software that came with it. I recently upgraded to windows vista 32bit and now the media software wont work, I cannot get it to work with Windows Media Center either. When I plug it into the computer, vista installs a hybrid atsc device driver. I have tried using just this driver and with a driver i downloaded for vista. nada, nothing zip. I even tried mediaportal and cant get a screen with it. It appears that windows media center only wants digital channels, i dont use those, only cable (i guess analog) channels.
I have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. It makes me use digital and with that i get no signal..... oh well, i guess it will work in 2009....

On Vista should work.

Hi, same problem for me too. Although Vista is a swell operating system, drivers for older boards such as the DV.now just are not upgraded. I hope to find one soon though.

Hi, the real problem here is VISTA, despite Microsofts hoopla this program is not as good as faithful old XP. The driver base is almost empty and a whole host of software and hardware just will not work with it. I reccomend you go back to XP until Microsoft releases a service pack with driver updates and then upgrade to VISTA. Regards mistyman
