Question about American Standard 2771.002.021 Cadet 5' x 36" Bathtub, Bone

My american standard jacuzzi tub is pluged in but jets won't turn on

I have an american standard whirlpool 6'x36 "Green Tea". Installed fine, tested fine, used it the first night, worked great. Tried the second night and I have no power, the jets will not turn on. It is plugged in and I know there is power because the heater light is on. I am just frustrated because there are no troubleshooting links on the A.S homepage.

Check for power at plug in if power your vacume switch is probably out replace switch.

Not normal for that to happen but the jet faces on the two back jets may be turned off or down.
Try turning the face of the jet clockwise and see if you get more water flow out of each jet.

In my case I took the motor out and used a screw driver to turn the impeller in the front of the pump and the fins inthe back. Put it back together and it worked. I then used 2 tablesoons of dishwashing detergent and 1/2 cup bleach and ran it for 20 minutes to clean and degrease the impellers

My american standard jacuzzi tub doesnt work. It's plugged in, but the push button doesn't engage anything. It worked before I removed it to install ceramic tile around and under it.

check the air tubing coming off the back of the motor. that tubing should connect from the air switch on the motor to the bottom of the air button on the top of your tub.
if it is not connected then it will never turn on.

sounds like maybe the jet faces are turned off. see if they turn one way or the other and they may open and spew water out for you.

American standard jacuzzi tub will not work. motor hums but jets do not come on

is this a new install? if so you may need to adjust the air intake. Or if you have kids they may have messed with the settings. If the air is closed all the way off....no bubbles.
