I am successfully using my old Quasar VM-D51 camcorder as a WebCam and it works great. My computer has a TV Capture Card with an analog input (I am using the RCA plug on it). The camera has a output connection on the lower right side (just below the hand strap). You will need a mini plug to RCA adapter to make the transition. The software for the TV Capture Card does the rest. Radio Shack has all of the hardware you will need. Hope this helps. Good [email protected]
