OK can someone help. I have a Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5300. I downloaded windows 7 home premium after having a clean sweep of my hard drive( due to problems) now I can't connect to the internet at all.I downloaded Belarc from another computer and installed it on that one. It pulled up ACPI/TOS 1901 and !900 that I need. can someone please tell me where to download the correct ones at? Thanks so much.

You can download windows 7 home premium from the internet and then save it to your usb flash drive or hard drive as an iso file. As long as you have a Windows 7 registration KEY number like that comes with your operating system cd, you can enter once you have the operating system installed, you will be ok. ANY Authentic Windows 7 Home Premium installation key will work.Just boot off the device the O/S is installed on.Hope this helps.

That's the O/S I'm going to use in this example;

Click on the Downloads tab.
(Downloads / Support Bulletins / Detailed Specs / User Guide)

To the right of the bold subheading - Refine Search by:
,click on the blue Down Arrow to the right of the - All Operating Systems - box.

In the drop down list click on - Windows 7 (64-bit)

Now click on the blue Down Arrow to the right of the -
All Categories - box.
In the drop down list click on - Sound

Under the bold black subheading - Title - click on the blue -
Conexant Audio Driver (v8.54.44.52; 11-02-2012; 40.07M)

Click on the white - Download Now - in the red rectangle

A small window will come up. Click on - Save File
A small download window will come up.
Allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.

At the bottom of the next 3 small windows, click on -
Next, Next, and Finish.

If you are not asked to restart your computer, do so.

[Click in the Windows logo button, then on the small Down Arrow. Click on Restart in the list ]

You may not have your Volume icon in the system tray anymore.
(System tray at bottom of Windows screen, and to the right)

Click on the Windows logo button. Click on Control Panel.
Click on Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices.

Click on Sounds and Audio Devices
Under the - Device Volume - subheading, click on the small empty square box, to the left of - Place volume icon in the taskbar.
Now click on Apply to the bottom/right, and then on OK to the bottom left.

To reset toshiba password, you can use Smartkey Product Key Recovery to help you, and you can see more detail direction from http://www.recoverlostpassword.com/products/windowspasswordrecovery.html

Try the following:

1.Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to unlock the computer.

2.Type the logon information for the last logged on user, and then click OK.

3.When the Unlock Computer dialog box disappears, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and log on normally.

Hope it works : )

and if it doesn't please try to clarify what exactly is happening-like how is it locked, so i can look into it more and try to resolve the issue.

But for now, lets hope it does : )
