Take your camera apart and put a piece of electrical tape over the center button (ok) on the menu.
Worked just fine for me after that.

Its not the batteries, if you have been using the camera for an extended amount of years the rubber under the ok button builds up a rubbery gook, take it apart and clean the gook off with a q-tip and it will work perfect, same thing happed to me.

Are you using Lithium batteries?

Using alkaline batts (or less) often creates 'issues'.

Worth a try if you haven't been using Lithium batts.

When I print photos, it doesn't show the date on the photo. Also , when I scroll down to Date/Stamp on the menu, it is always "off". And I can't change the setting. Help

You haven't said what make/model your camera is, so it is hard to advise.

Without knowing the camera, I am guessing that you may be in the wrong mode when trying to change this setting. You won't be able to change it while reviewing pictures already taken. You can only change it for pictures to be taken subsequently. Once pictures are taken, you won't be able to add the date stamp, nor remove it if it has been stamped.

It may be that it won't allow you to set this if you haven't already set the date and time in your camera. I can't see why this setting would be shown at all if it was not possible to turn it on (i.e. if your camera did not have this feature).

Can't reset Date & Time

What you have to do is go to the icon with the spanner (as shown above) and keep tabbing down. There are more options than just the ones you see in the screen (not just High Power , Auto, Set Tag, On), keep going down and it will show you the other options. You will see the date change icon about 7 or 8 down.

Kodak CX7330. turns on but LCD screen is black and won't take a pic

It sounds like a bad connection on the ribbon cable of the LCD screen to the camera's motherboard. The fact that when you physically move the camera around and you can get the screen to then work, tells me something is loose inside.

Good luck!
