"SE" error means you
have a shorted membrane keypad.
You would need to have either the membrane keypad itself replaced, or the control panel frame assembly which comes with a new keypad, or the whole controller.
Part numbers and prices will of course depend on the model number.
Hello, this code is the result of a failed function key on the key pad, or
control board. Some control boards will have the touch pad, or key pad
combined with the actual control board, as one whole unit. If this is
the case, simply have the main control board replaced. Now, if the
touch/key pad is separate from the main control board, this will
require you to gain access to the control board and key pad, and
preform this test below to isolate the failed component.
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs
If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.
If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.
HI. This code is the result of a failed function key on the key pad, or control board. Some control boards will have the touch pad, or key pad combined with the actual control board, as one whole unit. If this is the case, simply have the main control board replaced. Now, if the touch/key pad is separate from the main control board, this will require you to gain access to the control board and key pad, and preform this test below to isolate the failed component.
Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs
If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.
If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.
HI. Unfortunately, the touch/key pad is not repairable. Once the circuitry is damaged, the entire board must be replaced. Most units will have an Incorporated control board, that will have the touch/key pad integrated into the main board assembly. If this is the case, simply replace the entire oven control board. If the touch pad is separate from the main control board, replace the touch pad board.
NOTE_ This may be a simple control fault. In this case, simply unplug the unit, or shut down the appropriate circuit breaker for five minutes. This will reset the control. If the issue's persist, replace the failed component.
HI, this is referring to the cancel key on your key pad. It is stuck open. follow the procedure below.
1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).
Hi Lindsay
Sound like you need a new key pad if you have some handy man around you you can replace it, It require dismantle the front key pad remove electronic part and clean then reinstall properly the key pad itself about $40.00 Aus
Let me know if you need part number for that key pad
Cheers
Please state what you are facing also tell us did you open it casing or any chances for the keypad filim cable detached
it can be due to the non connectivity or device driver issue, The best solution is to connect a PS2 or USB external key board and check its working or not then we can assume whether its a driver problem or a physical problem. New keyboard is also available you can replace it
