SOURCE: nokia 6820 black screen
you have a damaged screen. they generally go black when they have been cracked and the liquid crystal has leaked. the LCD can be replaced, but if it also has a tired battery, it is probably not worth repair. If you want to replace the display, you need the correct tool to remove the screws from the chassis internally, and the new LCD can be purchased from http://cellink.com.au/products/ They have the tools and parts to repair just about any phone. Good luck. A "fixya" rating for my advice would be great :)

If Nokia says beyond repair it means that the main boarrd is faulty and the cost of replacement is more than the cost of the new model phone with advanced features. So please understand that youmust not waste any money to get this done but maybe some dealers might take an exchange for spares and trade a new phone.
