You can short the remote turn on to the +12V and see if the amp comes on that way. If not, either the amp is hooked up wrong, or it's faulty. Let me know and be sure to leave good feedback or I don't get paid.

i had this amp hooked up before in my truck.. thought i was selling my truck so i removed the amp. when i hooked it back up, no lights, nothing. LED light is not on. and no sound coming from sub. one thing im not sure of, i didnt install my aftermarket deck before, i had it done. this time i reinstalled it myself. the only question i have, the wire that is connected to the amp the remote/power ant. wire, im positive its connected correctly to my deck, could that have anything to do with no power going to the amp?
