Hello What type of TV do you have, analog or digital? If you have an analog TV
and the screen is rolling it is the vertical hold. Because the vertical hold
operate on 60 cycle which the same as AC line cycle. The 60 cycle in the
vertical hold is as a oscillator or timing circuit. When the TV pick up the
image for the NV devise, they just don't mix. Why, because image intensifier
tube in the NV devise is operation at 25 to 50K Hz or cycles. The vertical hold
circuit pick up on the 50K Hz signal which mixes with 60 cycle timing circuit
causing the screen to rolling with lines across the screen @ 60 cycles. Digital
camera and digital camcorder with digital TV will help, or a image inverter that
takes this 50k Hz signal and covert it to some that analog TVs can use.

TV was working fine, moved to new home and the problem began. Picture rolls to the right, picture is fuzzy and will clear up somewhat at times. The picture will stop rolling at times also, but may be a half and half screen. Sound is fine, can you help me with this problem please.
Find someone in an area that the Company will ship to and send them the money to get the replacement board. then give them the shipping address and have them send it to you . I would be willing to help if all it will cost me is the time. You would have to take care of the E-Bay Bill and The shipping costs from my location to yours.
yes it can be fixed depending on your model number if its the VS50605 they have a kit to repair the PIP module which controls vertical sync (Rolling) or you can bypass the module to correct it but you would lose the PIP function. Let me know if you need more info.
It ended up being the Verizon Fios box. We recycled it and the picture stopped rolling. Thank you for being here to help. If I have any future questions, I'll definitely use your site.
I have seen this many times. There is a 9 volt regulator on the small signal board that causes this. The regulator goes bad and the 9 volts starts dropping, especially at start-up when the regulator is cold. If the voltage is below 8 volts then the picture gets dark and the vertical becomes unstable, with the picture squeezing down and/or rolling. As the regulator warms up the voltage starts rising back towards 9 volts and the symptoms start clearing up. There are 3 regulators in a row on the board and the regulator in the middle is always the bad one. Replacing that regulator should cure your problems but it should be replaced by someone experienced in servicing Mitsubishi projection TV's because pulling the chassis out is quite tricky.
