the tech is probably pretty close to the cost of board,but you may have moisture in air that still wont take out the p.c..you have a warrenty on the unit,go to your local welding store and request a new one if refussed tell them you want to talk to the miller salesman which they should have no problem to set up.if not call miller direct in appleton wisc.they are good people.

Your problem is in one of two areas. The controller board inside the unit or a bad trigger on your gun.

Check your foot controls first the POT my be acting up change it out w/another if you have one,

proper polarity?

Sounds like a bad thermister on the rectifier or a bad control board.

Not exactly sure what you mean however, the schematic diagram for your machine will be pasted inside the case. Also Miller will let you download a PDF file of your manual at their website www.millerelectric.com
