Panasonic kx tga402 when I get a phone call the number one (1) is always in the front of the indicative code. My phone number is : 305-943..... and when I look at the phone number that called, is is written : 1-305-943. How can I take off the number 1. Thank you

If you are using this phone on a Panasonic KX-TDA 30/100/200/600 system. From the Switcboard / Main telephone or Managers phone with the handset on the cradle/hook press Program * * or Program * # followed by the system password ( default is 1234). Now press 004 and then ENTER. Enter the extension number you want to change. Now enter the name (the same way as texting on a cellphone) To save the changes press AUTO DIAL / STORE. To go to the next extension press NEXT on the screen. When you are done lift the handset and put it down to exit program mode.

We have a Panasonic XK-TGA402 and are having difficulty setting up the call answering service. The manual that came with the unit doesn't match the model number and we're wondering if the instructions in the manual are missing something. Anyone help?
