Binoculars are normally purged of all air and filled with nitrogen to prevent fogging and mould issues. If one side fogs internally it's a sign that a seal has leaked and needs to be replaced. The manufacture or any camera repair store should be able to replace the seal and refill the chamber with nitrogen.

Samsung SC-D353 foggy lens - what can I do?

If the lens on your Samsung SC-D353 camcorder is foggy, there are a few steps you can try to clear it:
  1. Clean the lens using a lens cleaning solution and a soft, lint-free cloth. Be sure to gently wipe the lens in a circular motion, taking care not to scratch it.
  2. If the foggy appearance persists, there may be moisture inside the camcorder. You can try using a hair dryer or a can of compressed air to blow out any moisture that may be trapped inside the camcorder.
  3. If the foggy appearance is still present after trying these steps, there may be an issue with the lens itself. In this case, you may need to have the camcorder serviced by a professional.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or if you are having trouble clearing the foggy lens on your camcorder, don't hesitate to ask.

I would like to know why the camera is taking pictures so foggy. whenever u are taken a picture it looks foggy and it takes the picture foggy you can barely recognize the person even when you zoom it.

Hello

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel after dropping it. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly , try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

Hope the advise is useful.

Regards
Andrea

It's not clear. Like it's kinda foggy, Kathy

Is the eyepiece lens clear or dirty? Are any of the other lens dirty?

If not practice focusing on a distant object during the day time. Clean the lens and eyepiece with regular eyeglass cleaning solution and a clean soft towel or pure white kleenex.

1999 taurus has foggy headlights.

Most Auto Stores sell a headlight solution that cleans the fogginess of your headlight. Assuming your headlight looks dirty and cloudy as would a pool, a simple solution is to pick up the cleaner at any auto place. That is a lot cheaper than buying a new headlight.

Water damege

That depens if the fog is inside or outside, outside it usually dries faster than inside. You are advised to let it dry at least another 24 hours , if the lens is still foggy after that , thab you must go to a repair shop to let it be cleaned.
