Push the button on the top right corner. It is a little black button that pops out. This should allow for you to bring down the face plate and you can then insert a cd. Hope this helps, also can you please rate my answer. Thanks

After putting faceplate back on it will not close

it sound like you have a broken ribbon cable. it is a part that needs to be replaced professionally.

My Pioneer DEH-P835R Cd Player will play my cd but wont eject

Check in the front and you should see a small hole thats about the same diameter as a paper clip. Open up a paperclip to a straight 2 inches and poke it through the hole. It should release the door so you can get it open or at least seat the cd if thats whats making it not open.

Pioneer deh - p9600mp

An install gone bad. Something is hindering free movement of the face plate open mechanism. Closely inspect the top edge of the bezel, is the face plate trim ( thin plastic ornamental frame covering the ugly aluminium mounting sleeve) snapped securely back in place? has it been fitted upside down?, is it deformed?.

Faceplate won't open

Had the same problem twice already.

Took it in for service and they charged me 125.00 (USD) to replace the ribbon cable on the inside.

I saved the $$$ and did it myself the second time.

The cable is located here on the Pioneer Website. It comes with instructions and no special tools are needed.

make sure that you have power not only to the red wire but also the yellow wire... one is battery power the othe ris ignition on power. If it only is getting one power it might not think the ignition key is on.. also maks sure there is not a reset button somewhere that you can press with a pen...

Cd ejection

Look for a tiny, recessed Reset button on the front of the unit with the face removed. Press this button with a pen tip; it should spit out the CD and work correctly afterwards. This will also erase your station presets and audio settings.
