HI if your LG is not accepting your airtel sim card then it mean it might be locked with some other network provider due to this it wont accept other network sim ..To fix this you have to unlock your phone ..You can easily unlock your LG phone using sites like Classicunlocking.com here they render unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost ....
your phone is locked with that network airtel ,so your phone need to unlock or openline so that you will used it in any kind of sim whatever network it was..i hope it will help
