Sounds like a safety switch or some component has tripped or been opened, try resetting any safety reset buttons, turn power off to the unit for one minute, to alloow unit to reset.

My 2006 Chevy Silverado 4X4 blower fan stays running after ignition shutOff?cannot control the fan speed either,The display turns on&off every time, settings & bars to show the fan speed work etc.

It sounds as if the blower motor relay is stuck, on your vehicle the relay is part of the blower motor resistor, the resistor is behind the glove box.I hope this helps. Take care. If you have more questions for me about this vehicle or if you just want to say Hi! use testimonial. Thanks

Williams furnace stopped working and not igniting. i checked the thermal pile with a voltmeter and reading 0.25 v still the burner is not igniting. The pilot is ok

check to see if the little fan near the pilot is running. You should hear the burring of the fan when you try to light the furnace if you stand near. if you can't hear the fan running, pull off the cover check the fan for debris, rust, or the motor may have stopped working. Check the fan should be your next step.

Both front and rear heater fans don't work, mechanic says it is an ignition switch?

Both "blower" fuses are fed by the ignition switch. If there is no power to those fuses than the switch is the likely problem.

Why does my fan keep running in my 2003 Volvo S 60 after the car is off?

It can be faulty fan relay. The relay is not turning the system off.Or its wire short issue.Even with ignition off ,the fan relay is getting power so its not letting the fan to turn off.Bypass the fan control relay and see if still the fan works with ignition off or not.

When plugg in fan turns about a 1 second and stops. Used to work fine last year actually used it couple times this year too what seems tobe the problem thank you

sounds like an ignition problem. The fan is supposed to start first to get the airflow going, then the igniter should heat up (glow igniters) or start sparking (spark plug igniters), then the fuel starts pumping. If the igniter is not working the fuel won't start. Things to check.... igniter - see if it is intact, fuse (usually in the circuit board), If those are ok, then check fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter. Hope this helps.

Where is a fan control module on a 96 vw jetta trek

switch the ignition on. disconnect the fan switch connector on the radiator. the connector plug should have three pins (if two then its easier). you can follow a diagram, but you can connect the thin wire's pin with one of the thick ones (dont worry, the wrong one wont short anything). the fan should go on at low speed. then connect the thick wire that worked to the other thick wire. the fan should go on at full speed. please ensure the ignition is on to test the full speed one as it doesnt operate with the ignition off. if neither works then check the fan control module. its under your water bottle. remove the water bottle then two screws will remove that unit. btw. they never give in, but maybe this is a first.
