My computer doesn't recognize jvc camcorder gz-mg20u. so that im unable to input my video from camcorder to my PC
Before you connect the camera to the computer you have to install the software that is on the CD that came with the camera. When this camera was new, Windows-XP and OS X 10.3.9 were the standard. I think you still can get the correct drivers and perhaps even the complete software on the JVC site, if you can't find the CD. I lost my CD and I still could get the software only a couple of years ago.

Have you tried different DVD.The problem might be with the DVD not the actual burner

Yes you can start your software program, turn on the camera and lastly connect it via usb. Make sure your drivers are updated and also your quicktime player program

There are SD card and hard drive recovery programs available on the net, and they often can retrieve the data Go to the following website and pick "photo recovery" to get the right software:
