Try pulling the hot swap Power supplies, push the power button hole the supplies are out to discharge power, then put them back in again and try the power button again.

    I'll try that on Monday when I'm back on site. Interesting.

SOURCE: After initial power on of HP ProLiant ML350, it will not stay on.

Is it on a dedicated circuit? Have you checked the voltage? As a control, I would suggest you move it back to its most recent location temporarily or at the very least to a location with a different power circuit to try to isolate if you have a power issue or a server failure.

Do you have two power supplies? If so, be sure they are plugged into independent circuits if at all possible.

Hp Proliant ML350 g4 will not power on. System was on but not responding so used power button to shut down. Now no response to pressing power button. No LEDs lit anywhere. Fans running on power supplies.

sounds like the motherboard has gone.... you could try changing the PSU and popping out some of the ram boards to see if that helps. but with the symptoms you've said, i'd say its the motherboard.

Gateway laptop i push power button it wont boot up but leds in front flash 4 times

Try holding down the power button instead of just pushing it. I had this problem with my HP dv7 and holding the power button down for around 5 seconds worked for me. Also make sure that its plugged in to a power source.

Proliant does not boot from raid controller if external SCSI drive is powered on.

Try to disable boot to other device on your bios setting.

Make sure that your Smart Raid is set on the first boot device.

I have the same problem with 3 motherboards ML350 G4: I connect de powersupply to the backplane, all the fans starts, the row of leds on the mobo begins the check secuence with green status but ends with...

Have you already connected both power jacks to your board? It's motherboard needs two supply of power. One is near the cpu fan and the other is at the right side end. Check also if the power supply has the same value as your power outlet. Low voltage can still cause this king of problem. 220 Volts - 220 Volts, 110 Volts - 110 Volts. Hope this could help a little friend. Have a nice day.

Gateway computer - cannot boot up--

At boot up press F2 and enter BIOS. Here check if your HDD is recognized. If yes Ten your Windows is corrupted and needs to be reinstalled. How to install and save your data follow the link below:
Crashed Windows : No Problem
If the HDD is not being recognized then run Auto Detect to recognize the HDD. If it works fine, if not then the HDD may need a change.

Internal led of ML350 server is glowing.......how do i resolve it?

Hi Franceso, plz specify
Is it powering ON ?
Which LED is glowing?
These leds are there on the front panel :

1 Power On/Standby button
2 System power LED
Green = Power on
Amber = System shut down, but power still applied
Off = No power

3 Internal health LED (Wave sign in BOX)
Green = Normal
Amber = System degraded. To identify the component in a degraded state, refer to system board LEDs.
Red = System critical. To identify the component in a critical state, refer to system board LEDs.
Off = Normal (when in standby mode)

4 External health LED (power supply)
Green = Normal
Amber = Power redundancy failure
Red = Critical power supply failure
5 NIC 1 activity LED Green = Network link
Flashing = Network link and activity
Off = No link to network.
6 UID LED Blue = Activated
Flashing = System remotely managed
Off = Deactivated
7 UID button

If it is Internal health led then any internal h/w issue is suspected.
If it is external health led then any power supply or power source related issue is suspected.
Also check the status of the server & its IML (Integrated Management Logs) in ilo (Integrated Lights Out ) if it is configured. (2nd RJ45 port in rear)

Also make sure the cabinet is properly closed.
