based on page 33 of your products phantom power is not supported by the xone 92, so it would not be recommended to connect a microphone that depends on such power.
what do u mean it sounds like ****? it could be a dozen things cables loose wires, basically check n recheck everything n then just the dj stuff by itself
that will narrow it down so we know what it is.
Have a look at page 4 of your manual under the Monitor section, mode switch. Manual is here:http://www.behringer.de/EN/downloads/pdf/DJX700_P0165_M_EN.pdf The mode switch may be faulty or the mix control may be faulty.
