SOURCE: installation ended prematurely because of an error >> office 2003

Firstly is this a copy or original and were you online during install. A copy i cant help with.

However, cd's have the problem of grease or dirty surfaces. and although the underside needs to be clean its the top that you should protect from damage as this is where the data is held. Try taking the cd to the sink and washing it with a drop of washing up liquid and drops of water. wash entire disk and swill with wram not hot tap water. when desoapped, drip dry and dabb onto a clean kitchen cloth. never rub towel onto disk surface. hold disk by finger in centre hole and on disk edges only. ensure entire disk is dry before insertion. Check cd rom drive head is free of hairs fluff etc.

Error 1722

You may encounter the following error on installation:
Installation ended prematurely because of an error
when trying to install 32-bit or 64-bit qlikView on Windows 7. With or without UAC (User Access Control), installation fails.
Suggestions to (re-)install vbscript.dll using regsvr32 vbscript.dll in the c:\windows\system32 (64-bit equivalent) directory didn't help.
On execution of the installer, c:\program files\common files\wise installation wizard has a new msi added that includes the full installer for the qlikView application.
Installation worked by opening your command window (Start -> (All Programs) -> Accessories ->Command Prompt (right-click and run as Administrator) by calling the msi, above, with a few switches:
msiexec /a WISB3[...].msi
That worked.
The command-line registry fix as below
reg delete "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{B54F3741-5B07-11CF-A4B0-00AA004A55E8}" /f
didn't do anything...

Same error on 3 boom boxes caused by one audiobook

Well if they were cheap then they were made in china, they fail prematurly due to cheap parts and poor build quality. CD's dont make Cd players break down unless they are caked in dust or are damaged.
