Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

Cracked screen I just recently purchased my Sansa. Yesterday my screen got cracked. Its under the exterior of the mp3 player. I lost the warranty (figures) and I was wondering if there was any place that would repair the screen.

IF you call Sandisk they should be able to replace it because it was a internal problem.

The only solution for a cracked screen is to replace it, once the screen cracks the LCD is no longer good. If the player is still under warranty see if it's covered if not you can try to replace the screen yourself, but that is usually risky and the screen alone is going to be expensive, best advice is to replace the player and try to be more careful, sorry.

Help my sansa is broken

If the interior screen is cracked, get the player replaced. You can go to YouTube and see the videos of how other peopel have tried to repair their screens, but the methods usually fail/cause more damage.

Cracked Screen

All of you - call Sansa and see if it is still in warranty. If so, get it replaced. Otherwise, get a new one, b/c no repair service (to the extent that they even exist) is going to be cheaper than getting a new player. Sansa may have reduced pricing for getting a new player, even if it is out of warranty (no guarantees).

Probably not. Open a ticket with the sandisk.com support and see if you can get it replaced if it's under warranty. you may have to call because they are kinda slow at getting to the tickets.

Cracked screen

if you have a warranty in the store that you bought your sansa from you can change it or replace it. but if you don't have the warranty you just have to take it to a small store that fix the screens.

Broken screen

When it comes to issues such as cracked screens, the question comes down to two things:

1. Is the screen cracked in such a way so as to cause big issues, or so the screen cannot function at all.

2. Is my product still under warranty.

Most companies nowadays tend to ship you a new product, if yours is still under any kind of warranty. If your MP3 player isn't, It may be better to get a new one.

My sansa e250 wont turn on.

i suggest to call sandisk support for this one. And how did you recieve the cracked screen? Because if it physically damage then it would void the warranty of the player. Their number is 1-866-7263475

you can claim a mal-functional screen and they may advise you to send it for repair at your shipping cost.
