The water is coming up through the bottom spray arm but is not spraying hard enough to clean the dishes. The spray arm moves very slow with the water shooting up about 3 inches. The water is not pumping hard enough to make it up to the second and third spray arm. Tube leading to the upper spray arms is clear. The water inlet valve has been replaced and the motor seems to spin freely. All has been cleaned so there is no debris.
I have the same problem with my Kenmore that is about four years old. It has a weak spray. I was wondering if it was stuck in the China mode or is the pump just weak. It has worked poorly from day one.I have the same problem with my Kenmore that is about four years old. It has a weak spray. I have a similar problem with my LG. After troubleshooting I noticed that at the end of the water fill cycle, I could hear the drain pum start and drain most of the water out. Then the wash or rinse cycle would start, but without enough water would not work, you could hear and see the main pum cavitate. I plugged the drain for a rinse cycle and the water filled and started to rinse normally.I have a similar problem with my LG. I'd only like to add that be veryobservant when removing the chopper and screen. The larger circle (look at cutouts on screen) goes on the top, it cn be very hard to get the chopper blade flex drive positioned correctly (very bad results will occur if not properly installed) and be patient and gentle when reinstalling the chopper cover to get everything correctly aligned. When everything is in the right place the chopper cover will rotate (counter clockwise) easily back into place.

Re:
Could be a a couple different issues.. Not filling with enough water or food chopper broke or food chopper filter screen clogged.
Check water level: Run the DW and wait for the main wash to start (water will fill. pause then complete fill) The water should be no more than 1/4 inch below the heating element. If not there..replace water inlet valve.
Inspect food chopper: Remove lower spray arm and rear water supply tube to upper spray arm. Remove torx screws that secure the sump cover. Remove the rounded cover on the left side to expose the chopper assembly. Inspect for breakage of blockage. There may be an additional plastic screen to remove first.

You are right to go to the inlet filters. If they are clogged you would lose pressure, but not that much...The pressure pump is probably not outputting any longer. Locate it and see if it is moving freely.
To
clean the dishes the water temperature is essential. It the water is not
hot then the dishes will not be cleaned properly. So check the water
temperature. The water temperature should be minimum of 140 degree Fahrenheit.
Also check the filter in your dishwasher for any debris accumulation.
If you are in an hard water zone , then try reducing the amount of detergent used and then try cleaning the dishes.
The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.
HI, there are three different reasons why this will occur in this type of unit. inspect these areas carefully.
1. Not enough water If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).
2.Clogged spay arms There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.
3. Water temperature is too low To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher. Make sure the temp is proper.

If your dishwasher is a few years old and just started leaving a film on your dishes there is a filter under the bottom adjitator that you have to replace it can't be cleaned jf
There is a screen that you can remove from the sump of the dishwasher to clean. Just twist it to the left and pull it out. I have some tips that you might want to check out if this does not resolve your problem. St Paul Appliance Repair
1. No water
Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water
shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to
the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill
cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at
the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either
side), in which case replace the water valve.
2. Not enough water
If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This
could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located
under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the
bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).
3. Clogged spay arms
There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher.
Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray
arm.
4. Water temperature is too low
To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees
Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.
5. Not enough soap
If you only fill one part of the soap cup, try adding soap to
both parts.
6. Smoky film on dishes and glasses
This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the
dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaner.
After observing the water just gushing out when the spray arm was removed, we determined there was still a bunch more calcification/soap in the ends of the spray arm. (We have very hard water in our area). Unfortunately, you cannot open up the spray arms to clean them out, so it took about 30 minutes of pounding and manipulating to get all the gunk out. Now my dishes are clean again. Hallelujeh! And the water cleaning the dishes is cleaner, as well.
only the top rack isnt getting clean? there is a little plastic
circle in the middle of the bottom of the upper spray arm. turn it
counter clock wise to pull the upper spray arm from the upper rack.
make sure that isnt clogged and the spray holes are not clogged.
otherwise....
the piece that the bottem spray arm plugs into and
runs along the back wall of the tank to the top is called a feed tube.
pull the bottom spray arm out. now you can see the part of the feed
tube that feeds the upper spray arm water. does it pop out freely and
easily? if so then you need a new feed tube, if not then its most
likely your not achieving the right water level or your impeller
connected to your circulation pump(motor) is clogged not supplying
enough water pressure to travel up the feed tube to spin the upper
spray arm.
