We installed an American Standard Soltura kitchen faucet and when we turned the water on, nothing comes out the spigot.. The water lines fill up, the line to the single spray head fills to the connector, then stops. We installed another one like this yesterday and it did the same thing so we took it back. "surely", we thought, " the second one would be fine, that it must have been something wrong with the pause button or something." Nope, this one did the same frigging thing. I am ready to throw this p.o.s. at someone. I can't figure this out and it is driving me nuts. The pause button has no effect. the spray/stream button does nothing. WTFFFF.....

Don't have a solution...but experiencing same problem on the HOT water side. Water lines were 4" too short, so I had to go back to Lowes to buy 2 more flex hoses and brass fittings (additional $25), and I have no hot water pressure, justa trickle.

Our American Standard Soltura kitchen faucet has lousy hot water pressure, but the cold side is fine?

The lines to the hot side may be plugged. Or the hot side of the faucet could be plugged as well.

IF HAVE A AMERICAN STANDARD KITCHEN (6310) . I JUST READ THE PART TAKE FACTCET APART AND TURN ON WATER . I DID THIS AND GET WATER ON COLD SIADE BUT NOT ON HOT. THIS IS WITH CARTRIDGE OUT .DOES THIS TELL...

It says you have a problem with the hot water. First thing to do is to turn the hot water supply valve under the sink off, and then remove the line from the valve to the faucet at the valve. Then put a bucket underneath the valve and turn it on (carefully). If you don't get any flow, then the problem is in the valve or the pipes supplying the faucet. If you get flow there, then the problem is in the supply line or possibly at the faucet.

I just installed an american standard faucet Molel# 2808.222 Called SPREAD LAVATORY FAUCETS . The water does not come out. can you please help me?

Silly question, but did you turn the shut offs back on after installing? If so, the aerator is probably clogged (the screen on the faucet). Unscrew it and clean it out. Good luck

The hot water stops coming out of faucet

if this is the faucet in picture, turn off water, pull out cartridge and inspect for any debris in cartridge or valve body, if not, turn on hot water to see if water is getting through valve body. May have kinked line or debris from or in angle stop line.

American standard kitchen faucet roars when hot water turned on

Not the aerator at all as this part would act the same if hot or cold.

Have you checked the shut-off valves under the sink? Sometimes just turning them a bit in either direction will solve that problem (will only be the case if it have been shut off at the valve recently).

Also, maybe the supply line on the hot side have been kinked?

Hope this helps

We are getting a metallic taste and smell

The metalic taste is coming from the the new faucet

I would call American Standard and ask them if they have any complaints for this particular model

I would run hot water through the faucet for 5 minute intervals

If it persists I would take it back and demand a refund or cal AS and demand a refund or replacement model

I am sure the local news would like to report something like this

Hi folks, seems stupid, but I'm changing the cartridge on my american standard kitchen faucet. If I line up the holes on the botton of the cartridge with the holes in the fixture, I don't have the ability...

Most likely you need to adjust the hot limit safety stop which restricts handle swing to limit the high temp of the water and avoid scalding... check out this link to the install manual for your faucet. Also includes detailed diagram of cartridge alignment just in case you need it.
