How do i send picture message on a htc

http://www.htc.com/uk/howto.aspx?p_id=283&id=36
this is a good how-to for a multimedia message, which includes pictures.
  1. Press HOME and then tap Messages.
If the Messages icon is not on your Home screen, tap the All Programs button on the bottom-left corner of the Home screen and then tap Messages.
  2. On the All messages screen, tap Compose message.
  3. Enter the mobile phone number or begin typing the name of the message recipient in the To field. As you enter the phone number or name, matching contacts will appear on the screen. Tap a recipient to add the person to the To field. If no matching contact is found, enter the recipient's phone number.
  4. Tap the text box containing the text "Tap to compose," and then start composing your message. As you near the 160 character limit, a counter will appear in the top right corner of the text box to tell you how many characters are left. You can still continue composing your message if it exceeds 160 characters. A new message is automatically created and attached to your original message, and will appear as a single message to the recipient.
  5. Press MENU and then tap Attach.
  6. On the Attach window, select the type of attachment you want to send:
  • Picture. Opens the Albums application. Tap the album containing the picture you want to use, and then tap the picture to attach it to your message.

My screen says 'internal memory is full' I have only taken about 50 pictures. I then bought a new memory card but after 3 pictures the same message comes on screen.

You need to look at your image storage settings. Press "Menu", "up/down" and "OK" to choose "Image Storage"; is it set to "auto" or "internal"?

If it's set to "Auto" then there's some reason that it's not recognising your memory card. You should format it. Press "Menu", "up/down" and "OK" to choose "Format" and then select the memory card.

If it's set to "Internal" then you need to set it to "Auto". Then it will use the memory card if it's inserted. (Take the card out to access the photos in Internal Memory.)

Memory Error Message

There is a white switch on the side of those sticks, and make sure it is not in write protected mode. If that doesn't work, I am sorry to say that stick might of went bad. Before giving up I would take to a professional film place and have them take a look to see if they can get them off w/o formatting.

Cause 1 A number of large applications are installed on the BlackBerry smartphone. Resolution To resolve this issue, complete the following steps: Make sure that the BlackBerry® Device Software is installed on the computer to display the correct total application space. Determine the application space that is available on the BlackBerry smartphone by completing the following steps: Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer. Open the BlackBerry® Desktop Manager. Double-click Application Loader. At the Device Application Selection screen, under the application selection window, note the total application space. Note: Select the List additional applications that are installed on the connected device check box to include the applications that are installed outside of the BlackBerry Device Software applications and the file sizes. Remove applications that are not required. For example, remove additional language packs and themes. Cause 2 A large amount of BlackBerry smartphone user data is present on the BlackBerry smartphone that cannot be removed by the Low Memory Manager. Resolution To resolve this issue, complete the following steps: On the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options > Status. Display the menu, and select Database Sizes. Reduce the number of items that are increasing the size of the database. For example, if the Address Book database is large, remove out-of-date contacts. If the Content Store database is large, move media files from the BlackBerry smartphone memory to a media card. Cause 3 Media settings may contribute to low memory capacity. Resolution Modify the Device Memory Limit settings by completing the following steps: On the BlackBerry smartphone, click Media. Select a media application. Display the menu, and click Options. Set the Device Memory Limit to the lowest setting field. Display the menu, and click Save. Note: Some BlackBerry smartphones have integrated cameras without a media card. As a result, some features have been added to handle picture storage on the BlackBerry smartphone, including the following: · Reserved Pictures Memory: In BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0, the default value setting is 10 MB. In BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 - 4.7, the default value setting has been reduced to 2 MB. This setting reserves memory for pictures that the BlackBerry smartphone might take, and reduce the File Free amount that is displayed in the BlackBerry smartphone. This makes sure that the BlackBerry smartphone has memory available for pictures that are taken when a media card is not inserted in the BlackBerry smartphone. · Device Memory Limit: The default value setting is 20 MB. This prevents the BlackBerry smartphone from storing more than the specified amount of memory use. Cause 4 An application has expanded beyond intended memory boundaries. Resolution Note: In the Java® operating environment, applications increase and reduce memory usage when the applications launch, run required processes, and close processes. An application may use more memory than it is intended to use. Please make note of the values outlined in the following steps: On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options. Click Status and note the values listed for File Free and File Total. Divide each of these two values by 1024, so that they are measured in kilobytes (KB). Record the new values, and name them as Displayed File Free and Displayed File Total. Display the menu, and click Database Sizes. Record the value shown in the Total Size field at the top of the screen. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager, then open the application loader tool. Click Next on the Welcome screen. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer and allow the application loader tool to detect it. You might be prompted to type a password. Click Next on the Device Application Selection screen. Verify that the List additional applications that are installed on the connected device check box is selected. Record the value for the Total application space, located at the bottom of the window. Calculate the Reserved Pictures Memory for BlackBerry smartphones that have integrated cameras. If a camera is not integrated, proceed to step 12. On the BlackBerry smartphone, open the Media application. Display the menu, and click Options. Note the Reserved Pictures Memory value and multiply that value by 1024. Record the value. For example, 2 MB * 1024 = 2048. To calculate the Total Amount of Memory In Usage, add the values for Total Application Space, Total Size, and Reserved Pictures Memory (if applicable). To get the Calculated File Free value, subtract the value for Total Amount of Memory In Usage from the Total Flash Memory supported by the BlackBerry smartphone.
