Whenever I switch the machine on is causes a power failure in the house. There are no signs of burning or damage to any of the electricals but as soon as you start a programme it will short the house fuse within seconds. Any ideas? Tks

E15 means that it is not draining fast enough. As well as checking the outlet pipes, check the filter leading to the pump. Disconnect the power and pipe. If possible take outside because there will be a residual amount of water. Remove the back panel, then disconnect the locking rings holding the tubes on. Your main target should be the big downflow rubber tube from the drum, in here is a plastic filter. In mine I found a child's sock... plus buttons...plus slime. Problem solved.
My machine did the same thing, I found it to be the heater element in the air box had come loose inside the casing and was hitting the sides of the air box. Removed air box from machine and resecured the element now all ok
Sounds like the PCB is Freaking out. All you can do is Check all the connections between the Main board and Display board and if you still have the problem - then i'm afraid it is probably the Main Board gone Faulty.
There are 3 possibilities 1 altough the water as drianed the pressure switch as not released due to blocake in the filter, or the interlock has jammed on the closed position which means it will have to forced open or the last fault could be the power board has gone.
