ERROR MESSAGE BLK 1CHKSUM FLT on tally t6045 printer

Best option is to add printer in Win 7 using Generic manufacture and generic/text only for printer. Obviously you select LPT, serial or your external printserver IP address.

Should be able to print anything you want.
Except barcode...

As you know those printers are very old, so to get you out of the dinosaur days and into the 80's. You might look at TallyGenicom 6312. It can do everything the T6045 plus multiple times more. We have parts still available for T6045, but if the main logic board goes bad... recycle time

Download Tally 7.2 Free from different sites like tallysolutions.com. But for such softwares you need a key or serial number but if you download it and run it in educational mode then you can use it as long as you want.

In the T6215 Maintenance Manual the fault message: Hammer Voltage has been replaced, in the T6218, with:

Hammer Voltage 1
There is a new fault message for the T6218. It is:

Hammer Voltage 2
Explanation: A high resistance coil fault has likely occurred in one or more of the hammer coils
Note: This fault message will have been preceded by printing slow-down attempts associated with On-The-Fly thermal monitoring of hammer bank temperature.

Corrective Action:
Check the hammer bank for defective hammer coils.
Confirm that hammer drive board is functioning properly.

there is two reasons behind this problem.

1. The parallel cable is damaged .
2.The parallel port of your computer is damaged.

so at first changed the parallel cable .if not solved connect your printer to another pc.

tally printer give hardware alarm on every problem gear aliment is very important in tally cheak for function sensor

I too have just bought a 2nd hand printer (Tally T8006) that also worked well until the fuser oil seemingly has to 'swamped' everywhere and which now throws up the same error code as above. Will attempt to 'dry it out' and see if the code clears. Have also recently sourced an original installation CD, will check out fault codes when it arrives - Gazz

fault "blk 0 chksum error" is attributable to a corrupt firmware. Fortunately the firmware can be reloaded and restore the printer in operating condition. You can download a firmware from the tallygenicom.com site under support and drivers then download it in your PC. Normally you need to put the printer is flash download mode also instruction can be seen from the site. If you cannot do this I can assist you with this.
