1750 psi, 1.5 gpm Campbell-Hausfeld pressure washer, runs bu continuously switches pressure on/off, never building pressure for washing except for 1-2 seconds if left running without pulling the trigger, then it quickly goes back to the continuous on/off pressure cycle while running but without washing pressure build-up. No longer have Owner's Manual. What to do?

If you no longer have High Pressure coming out while machine is running, it's a pump issue.

Campbell Hausfeld 2200 psi pressure washer doesn't build up pressure

2 possibilities. It is not getting enough water from the hose or your pressure regulator is bad. Does it sound like the engine is developing full RPM? Could be and engine problem if not coming up to full speed.

Hookup

For the Campbell Hausfeld 1800 PSI model (PW182500AV), the garden hose connects to the pump inlet on the lower back of the pressure washer. The high pressure hose connects to the high pressure outlet on the lower front of the pressure washer. Here is the operator's manual that will show both connections. http://www.mowersatjacks.com/images/campbell-hausfeld/manuals/pw1825.pdf

My 1750 psi campbell hausfeld pressure washer will operate at first until I release the trigger on the wand. Then it won't restart. If I wait for a while it will run again. Sounds like the pressure switch.

Common with that washer...it has a wabble pump. Release the trigger, if by pass does not engage, stalls engine. You can however keep using it, all you have to do is keep trigger pressed, and when you are cranking engine, depress trigger with the free hand. Can be repaired, but the fix probably will cost more than a new pump.
