Change from TV mode to AV mode for a Hitachi C28W4110SN
Hi,
I have a Hitachi TV - C28W4110SN. I do not have its original remote and have a universal remote which is working fine. But I am unable to change from TV mode to AV. Please advice how this can be done
Re: Change from TV mode to AV mode for a Hitachi...
There should be buttons somewhere on the TV itself to switch input modes. Look around where the power button is located and see if there is a menu button you can access. Then use channel up/down and volume up/down to scroll thru modes to find input

Hello
Without remote control you can't change its mode to AV. Buy one "Atlas OCAP 5-device remote control; by Universal Electronics. Emerson is listed to very short numbers of universal remotes, and this is one amoung them. The codes will be with the attached manual, and you can choose if from it. OK.
good day , what button can you see infront of your TV screen?
Not familiar with this model but if you'll manage to locate a button marked as "TV/AV" or "AV" press this button until it the display switch to A/V mode (audio/video). Or if this is a really old model, from Tuner mode or channel model. set the channel station to 1 then press the " - channel " button and see if it will change from tuner mode to A/V mode
Hi, sorry I confused things on my first post, I understood now that you need a remote to operate the HR 20 , as TV has his own remote.
If you have original remotes for TV and HR20, you should be able to do the job, and that would be best solution.
If instead you want to use an universal remote, the only way out is using auto programming on universal remote, as HR20 codes are not available.
Auto find or auto programming mode is a feature of all universal remotes, you need to check universal remote manual, and follow the procedure, untill this operates your hr20.
have you tried buying a universal remote? you can get a decent one for
£10 these days from any electrical store, such as curry's or maplins.
it gives you a 3 digit code for the tv to link up with the remote and
then you can switch over to av. some hitachi tv's also link up to av
automatically if you connect your game station via scart socket (in the
back of the tv) if you turn the tv off and link your wii up to the back
and make sure the power is turned on before the tv is switched on,
there's a chance the tv will auto detect the av channel. not all do but
it's worth a try. hope this helps!
you would need to purchace a universal control you can find these in shop like currys ask the teqs there or look on ebay for a remote like your old one
You have to order the original factory remote in order to access the menus of this model of TV set. Contact the manufacture service rep for your area to order a remote.
if your tv doesnt have the original remote control that is the problem, you have to find it,if you can't find it try universal remote control.i was have same problem its been solved by this way.
