Desktop stuck in sleepmode IBM thinkcentreMT-m

If your computer goes to safe-mode everytime you start it up the follow these instructions

let is start up and go into safe-mode the once it does go to the start menu and type msconfig and ethen press enter



It will take you to system configuration
select the Boot tab then uncheck safeboot then click apply then ok



restart your computer.

go to search, type in netplwiz and click on it to open it up. it is self explainatory. I hope this answered your question and fixed your pc.

Try unplugging the power code from the power supply and press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds. this drains all the current from the motherboard. plug it back in and turn it on!
if it happens again, try a windows repair or a reinstall. (make sure to backup ur data).

Try removing the power lead and battery for 30 secs. then insert the battery and power lead and boot up the notebook.

Most Likely Memory.. Try to re-seat the ram modules.. They should be accessible via a small door on the bottom of the laptop. Also if you have two slots and two sticks run one at a time to see if maybe just one of the sticks is bad..

Unfortuantley if you cannot get into safe mode, then windows is stuck ina loop, the easiest thing would be to reformat the machine and reinstall windows

This is most likely a system glitch. Try a system restore first, then a system repair with your operating system disc if the restore doesn't do the trick. You should be able to get into the system tools from the task manager to do the restore.
