Are you sure you did not select flash off? This setting remains even when you switch off the camera. See basic settings page 14. If on top of the screen next to the ISO symbol is a flash symbol with a bar, you manually switched off your flash.

SOURCE: how can I turn the flash off on a cannon power

Your menus will have options to be able to turn off the flash in certain modes.
The camera also has external buttons which will turn the flash on or off. Read your user manual.
The button which has the SET inside has four selectors. The right selector has a flash on/off button to turn the flash on or off. The flash usually will flash when set to flash all the time and not in AUTO mode. The AUTO mode may not allow you to turn off the flash. You probably have to choose another mode to allow the flash to be turned off.

The little lightning bolt on the right side of the function switch (3:00) gets you to the options. If you keep pushing it you will get the different settings. In the manual on Page 68 the different settings are given for the different icons.

With the camera turned on in the mode to take pictures, press the top of the 4-way controller (lightning bolt) and you will see an icon come up on the LCD. Press the controller again until you see a lightning bolt with the barred circle around it (no flash). The flash options may not be available in some SCN (scene) modes, so use AUTO or P, if possible. Turning the flash off is a setting that is not remembered when the camera is turned off -- you have to set it each time you turn the camera on.

Cannon printer error 100000

Error code E#100, ERR 100 or E100-0000 is a laser scanner unit error.

Solution 1:
  • Turn off the printer, wait 10 minutes, and then turn it on again.

Solution 2:
  • Flip open the top of the printer.
  • Look for a small shutter that holds the laser: carefully force this open with your hands and force the laser out into the center of the tracking cradle.
  • After you move the laser, unplug the printer for a few minutes.
  • Plug the printer back in.

Solution 3:
  • If the same error occurs, it's necessary to contact a service representative.

My controller lights are flashing

That's an easy fix. This means either your controller hasn't been registered to your system yet, or it needs registered again. When you turn on your PS3 from the console and get to your main screen, press the big PS button in the center to get the lights flashing, then flip it over to the back and push in the little pin hole with a pencil or toothpick, give it a second, and it should register to your system.

Good luck and if i've helped to solve your problem, please give me a 4 thumbs up!

My cannon power shot sd600 viewer doesnt turn on

Sounds like you accidentally pressed the DISP or DISPLAY button on the back of your camera. This manually turns the LCD screen on and off to save batteries. You would then use the optical viewfinder in its place. Try pressing this button one more time to see if it turns back on.
