You must configure the page size, because the configuration jams have a page shorter than the product that you put to print.

SOURCE: Paper jam at fuser

1. Faulty/blocked fuser exit sensor or faulty/blocked POB sensor. The printer thinks paper is present at one of these sensors when there should not be paper present
Verify that the fuser exit sensor is not stuck
If both sensors are working correctly, the most likely cause is the POB sensor is being blocked by the transfer unit. This can happen if the sensor is out of position, or if the transfer unit's white plastic baffle is out of position. Try bending the POB sensor bracket outward slightly to clear the baffle and retest.

You can remove the imaging unit, then
Depending on the stock being used for the job, raise or lower the left and right colored Fuser separator levers. The levers will stay in the raised or lowered position on their own.
the levers are green. The fuser itself is not easy to remove.
Do you have any warranty left on the machine? Or a depot repair agreement?

Xerox XD100 paper jamming every time.

The fuser is the problem. Most likely the fuser will need to be rebuilt or replaced.
Google a business called The Parts Drop. they have either the parts or the unit.
You may just have to take the fuser out and remove a badly jammed piece of paper in that module.
Shut the machine off for a half an hour. Remove the back cover. You will then see on the left side a black plastic bracket with 3 plugs on it. Disconnect those 3 plugs. Then open the right side door and toward the top is the fuser. It has yellow caution HOT labels on it. There are 2 silver phillips screws holding it in. Remove the screws and then remove the fuser unit and see if there is a paper in there. There are 2 screws that you can remove and the fuser will kind of fold open to inspect for bent fingers or one out of place.

Well that problem is because there is not enought oil on the fuser roll. The problem is the oil pump. change it before make one irreversible damage to the fuser or pressure rolls. Do a full maintenance of the fuser module.

Paper Jam? Print quality

If the toner wipes off the printed pages, then the fuser is the problem....not hot enough or enough pressure to heat the toner to the paper. I would try to reseat the fuser...make sure it is making good electrical contact. I have also seen the paper actually wrap around the fuser roll, which would cause the same symptoms...be careful removing the paper if that has happened...the fuser roll can be easily damaged !

My printer keeps telling me I have a paper jam there is not

There is either a sensor flag out of place, which is usually a small plastic piece, or you still have a small piece of paper stuck some where. Without knowing which machine we are talking about it's hard to say which it is.

PC1060 canon copier

in your case you have to remove the fuser

I will try to guide you, most of the models are the same.

1-turn off machine and unplug

2-open the side door, you already know where the paper is it's most likely rolled up on a hot long roller, this is the fuser unit
3-with a phillips scredriver(star) remove 2-4 screws that hold the unit, it will have a plug most likely on the right hand side unplug
4-unit should slide out (unless there is a cover holding it
5- you can now see and work on the unit turning the gear by hand to remove the paper.
6-reverse the steps
