Clear the display of self-diagnostics with SIMULATION 14. Go to the simulation mode:
1) #/P key (program) ON ? Asterisk (*) key ON ? CLEAR key ON ? Asterisk (*) key ON ? You are ready for input of a main code of simulation 14
OR
Hit this sequence: CLR-Exposure-CLR-Exposure
The display will go blank. press "14", press PRNT
Hit "CLR" several times to exit.
OR
Press: # * C *. that will enter the machine into the simulation mode.
Then enter the number 14, and follow what it says on the screen. Then enter 1 and execute.
Start-Up Options Menu
Press the MENU key when the Title screen is displayed to
access the Start-Up Options menu.
Use the UP or DOWN 4-WAY Cursor keys to position the
cursor, then the RIGHT Cursor key to select one of the
following choices. If you wait too long, the system will
default to whichever menu mode happens to be highlighted:
• Normal
• Simulator
• System Status
The problem is in the scanner motor.To cancel the trouble status follows these steps:
STEP1 .Press MENU
*,2,8,6,4 STEP2.The machine beeps for approx.
one second and displays “MAINTENANCE" on the LCD, indicating that it is placed in
the initial stage of the maintenance mode, a mode in which the machine is ready to accept entry
from the keys. STEP3.Now you are inside the
simulation Press 01 to reset the
trouble status. STEP4.To exit the simulation press 99 • Pressing the 9 key twice
in the initial stage of the maintenance mode makes the machine exit from
the maintenance mode, restoring it to the standby state. • Pressing the Stop button
after entering only one digit restores the machine to the initial stage of
the maintenance mode.
I hope that this will cancel the error but if not canceled you should call the authorized serviceman to fix your machine.
