How white? Stark blinding white? Or just too bright? The latter is normal. Just manually adjust the brightness when you plug it in using the 'fn' key and the icon that looks like 'decrease brightness' (usually a smaller sun or a sun with a down arrow).

Actually, I should have been more specific on this. The screen would go bright white or BSOD after a couple of minutes. Message boards insinuated bad OS or hard drive, or RAM, or BIOS. I replaced HD, installed fresh Win7 OS, and tested RAM by replacing. The same problems occured. The computer would work fine on battery only, plugged in it would crash within 5 minutes. Not wanting to replace the MB I installed a new battery and tried an alternate a/c adapter. No change. Finally broke down and replaced the mother board. Problem resolved.

SAMSUNG LD TV - VIDEO PROBLEM

Make sure that your video is connected to the video port on your TV. Also check to see if you are using the proper channel (component) on your TV.

Most issues occur when the cables are plugged into the wrong port. Some are color coded. Red goes to red, white goes to white and yellow goes to yellow.

Wii does not show up on the tv screen

This problem is likely due to a problem with your AV cable. Try the steps below to get your Wii up and running.
  • Make sure the Wii is turned on and all cables are plugged in.
  • Unplug the AV cable from the T.V. (The AV cable has a red plug, a yellow plug, and a white plug.)
  • Plug the AV cable back into the television making sure that the red plug goes into the red socket, the yellow plug goes into the yellow socket, and the white plug goes into the white socket.
If problems continue try replacing your AV cable with a new one.

My ipod touch goes to a back screen then it goes to a white screen and keeps repeating

Welcome to Fixya

This problem is called the white screen of death. To solve this, you should press the Home button and the Power button together for about 30 - 40 seconds. This process is called hard reboot. You can also try to restore the factory settings by plugging the device to you computer and restore it using itunes.

Thank you!
