use your vga driver

go to control panel/system security/device manager
device mager/ scan device if you see a driver yellow icon like this(?) click it camera and update driver online. step by step. automatic run online...

1) Reset connection or try a different USB port. - If it runs directly from VGA connection, reset VGA card.
2) Update drivers VGA drivers (Either motherboard or PCI manufacturers web site)
3) Update camera drivers (Frontech website follow links for support and downloads)
Un-install and re-install the driver software

Ain't happening... Unless you have a computer running Win 98 or ME. Kensington has abandoned support and there was never a driver for any other version of Windows.

go to hp.com, click support and drivers, then click download drivers in the list, then type in "hp vga webcam," then it will give you a list, click the HP Vga webcamera, then click your operating system, then once you click(32 or 64 bit), there will be a big button that says "download", download the driver and your all set! reply with the results!

down load split cam and install it from the site mentioned below run the software then connect your pc , open split cam from the progrrame, in split cam icon choose usb cam your cam shall work,

Click on the link and scroll down to find an option called Color VGA Computer camera which is a 1.77 MB file download and install the file.

Click on the product support tab, and then click on the file name that has the March 22, 2007 date next to it, that will be the original drivers for your webcam. Download it and then after its done downloading run the program so it installs the software for your webcam.
