Dvd Drives are pre-setted region from the company for the particular usage accordingly to regions. go to my computer right click on dvd drive click properties then hardware then properties there you can see DVDregion change it

These guys can certainly help you with parts for older Nakamichi decks. They are in the UK, and have most parts for pre 1996 tape decks from the legendary makers. The synthesis chassis had dramas with pinch rollers siezing up from dried grease. I always used to strip and relube, and often replace the pinch roller/tape guide assly. Hit them up, if you have any dramas, get back to me here.
