Don't understand why, perhaps rca contracted microsoft for their programming, but when I unplugged the TV and it rebooted, everything is fine. I still am concerned about the warning on the back.
Ok. no U can hear the audio for the channels?... this set has no bulbs to replace. does it shut down. does the front green light flash. if u push menu on remote does anthing come up?
Sounds like it could be the entire light engine. The part is available on the Internet, but it runs $700 - $1200 without the lamp (although it sounds like you could use your existing lamp without a problem). These parts, however, are notoriously hard to find and may be backordered for months.
i founfd this, it could be the problem.
Symptom: NO VIDEO
Cause: Found L306 was open. B+ to pins 21,22 of PFC2 at the FC.
find L306, will be hard to find with all the boards, but L306 is a coil. if you can find it use a multimeter to see if it's open.
450 sound slightly high but if you have a service call or pickup & delivery it might be right. hopefully you find the coil bad.
good luck.
I will look into your suggestion(s) and let you know.Thanks.
