Can't jump to the end on level 5

I have the instructions for an R1200GS which may be applicable.
Preparatory work:
1) Remove crash bars, if any.
2) Drain engine oil.
Removal of oil level indicator:
3) Remove circlip holding oil indicator.
4) Pierce the plastic disk with a large screwdriver and pry the sight glass out carefully (this is the point of no return!). Do not let plastic pieces fall into the engine.
Installing new part:
5) Clean the sealing face.
6) Apply assembly paste (36 32 1 239 263, 36 32 1 239 264) to the sealing face of the new part and drive it into place using a suitable drift (No. 00 5 500 is the BMW tool).
7) Install circlip making sure it is correctly seated in the groove (important!)
Finishing the job:
8) Replace engine oil.
9) Replace engine guard if any.
10) Check for correct oil level.
11) Finally, check for leaks.

The manual says the assembly paste is called "tyre mounting paste".
It is worth spending some time trying to get the right size drift to avoid cocking the part in the hole (wooden dowel should work). It will be difficult to get it out without destroying it if it goes in crooked.

Jump on the squares in the order of color that is shows you.

When you get to the mid-level point, there are two rows of bricks and two jumping turtles. The top row question mark holds a mushroom to make you mid-size. Knock out the brick to the left of this. Then go down to the bottom row and the middle brick (directly below the above hole) holds a vine. Hit the brick to make the vine grow and climb up.

Once you are up in the clouds, jump on the mushroom. Be careful not to fall off. Ride the mushroom past the gold coin, keep going and there is a secret pipe. Jump up and go up the pipe. This will get you past world 7-6.

This level starts off fairly straightforward, so head on out. Follow the save
straight along until you pass through the wooden door. You will come to a
puzzle that you must solve. When you are playing this area in co-op, let one
player do all the work as there is a bug that will make this very frustrating
to complete. You must step on the squares in pairs to make the entire board
light up. You can walk around the board, on it, over pairs you have already
made with impunity, but if you step on something out of sequence, it will
reset and you will have to start over. Once this is done, it will open up the
boulder that was impeding your progress and a cutscene will play.

After the cutscene ends, you will find yourself back in the puzzle tile room
and the wooden door will open. Go this way. The super short level ends here.
