SOURCE: need to replace the watch battery.
All battery driven watches are sensitive, not just the Chase-Durer.
Even the cheap ones, as the movement can be damaged or destroyed by the static electricity (touch of the bare finger).
Extra care is not needed to replace your watch battery, just you have to follow some simple, but very basic rules.
If you are ready to do it yourself- let me know and I'll guide you throgh all the steps (by asking me questions on this site).
Ifyou are not, then I'll let you know the best place to do that at nearest shop possible.
SOURCE: i have a problem with my chase durer combat
In all probability the watch has become magnetized, which affects the mainspring hence it's timekeeping capabilites. Now you need to find a watchmaker/shop that knows what this means, and has a demagnetizer (yes, they do make such a thing) and have it demagnetized. It should be relatively inexpensive, say $10-15.
SOURCE: the watch just quit working. I had the battery
go back to whoever replaced battery first ask them to check battery not faulty then if battery ok ask them did they AC the watch when fitting battery any repairer who knows what they are doing will know what you mean, if they dont find a decent repairer..other option have it serviced..

Hi,
Unfortunately, they do not have any dealers or support desk in Australia. I would never prefer these watches to be repaired by an authorized service center. You need to contact them at :-
http://www.chase-durer.com/navi/contact.html
They would tell you how you need to ship the watch and would also provide a quote for the same.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
