F9 means
problem with the oven door lock circuit. If the door is locked, it's probably a bad switch that tells the oven it's locked. If the door isn't locked, probably a problem with the lock mechanism.
A common problem on many built-in ovens (you don't say if yours is built-in or free standing...) is air circulation in the control panel. The fan that keeps the panel cool either stops working or gets clogged with dirt/dust and can't move any air. This causes the panel to overheat and can cause all kinds of odd problems and error codes. If you have a built-in, check to make sure the fan is working and the mesh screen behind it is clean

Hi, the F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.

Thanks for using FixYa. F9 error in your oven/range indicates an issue with the door locks assembly and/or the door latch. To start with check the door lock circuit, you can also try to jump start it to see if it's working. If it's not working then the Electronic Range control has gone bad and should be replaced, if it is working then the door lock circuit should be replaced. F9 code
I hit the same F9 problem when trying to self-clean, except that the door was locked OPEN.

After much trial and error, I found the following fix: 1. Switch circuit breaker off. 2. Switch circuit breaker on. 3. Press Bake button. 4 Press the small/inside button which indicates that the oven door is closed.

The lock mechanism opened and the oven now works fine.
