Coby TF-DVD7050 I have a Coby TF-DVD7050 that only plays a blue screen, no Coby splash screen. You can hear the DVD but get only a blue screen. It's not even a year old, anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

The backlight inverter board of your TFT is faulty. Soemtimes the CCFL tubes have the trouble. Anyway, there is no backlight coming up. Check for it. OK.

The spindel motor or lazer is foulty.

Clean the laser lens

Its defective. Coby doesn't repair the units. The lense is off balance which is causing the laser to not read the dvd/cd.

optic lense reader are dirty need cd cleaner

my guess would be overheating try running a cooler under it
