Hi i have a electrolux ewf 1074 front loader. it has the padlock symbol up and the washing light is on although the last cycle had finished and the door is able to open and the start / pause button is flashing

Press and hold the 'Delay' and 'Extra Rinse' buttons together and it will 'unlock' your control panel (this is a tamper proof feature for the kiddies)

I just had do the load again ,but set it for22 min ,s them try this .Press and hold the 'Delay' and 'Extra Rinse' buttons together and it will 'unlock' your control panel (this is a tamper proof feature for the kiddies)See what happen,s OK.

Just a long shot - it may be the water inlet filter is blocked? normally there is a little mesh filter in the hose that screws onto the back - check that its not full of crap. This happened to me only a few weeks ago hope its as simple as that for you.

Ewf 1074 sudden stop no power
I have the same problem "no power at all" when plug into the power wall inlet. No lamp on, display is blank/no led of 7 segments lit, nothing. The door can be opened and closed normally. Holding Delay and Extra Rinses buttons when power on the electrolux EWF 1074, doesn't help either. The electricity wall plug in is active. What can I do more ?

I have Electrolux 7kg Eco Wash System EWF 1074 about three and a half years. It's taking very long time to wash. I realized that last one minute goes forever. It takes a lot longer than it says.
Its not unusual for these machines to take a long time. Especially if you are using a heating ( Warm / hot wash) cycle.

Unusual display on panel (padlock) machine can't be programmed door is not locked however
i just went through the same thing.......you need to hold the option and extra rinse buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds, this will unlock it.....so turn the machine on and press the two icons, dont worry about the beeping and flashing after 6 seconds the padlock symbol will go and you can use the machine as usual.....i wish they put that 'minor detail' in the manual...cheers!!
