Picture red i have a philips 35p500 c101 picture n sound are fine but the picture its all red i cant find a schematic

Red screen is due to problem in red video circuit. please check 1 supply to red video ckt. 2 crt base loose. 3 components in red video ckt. 4 loose contact in red cathode ckt in crt base. 5 red video transistor. 6 signal coming to red video from signal processor. 7 signal processor ic. as per schematic check web site www.serviceinfo.com good luck.

60p8342a philips tv picture looks red sound is fine

go to a unused video input and turn color off----screen there should not be red or even somewhat red, if it is the red screen control may have to be lowered just slightly.

This is a common problem. Its called a convergence failure.

I have a 8p6044 c101 that has a very dim and slitly blury picture

Red screen

it is due to problem in red cathode section in your tv. you can check 1 vlotage on red video ckt. 2 loose or print cut in red ckt 3 crt base loose 4 problem in red signal processor line. 5 signal processor ic defective 6 connector loose. good luck

Dim picture

If decide to do yourself, ya only have to do the green and blue ones, the red light spectrum won't allow fungal growth. Pull whole CRT assembly out to prevent spilled/leaking glycol from onto lower main boards
