I am trying to connect to a f5 and it says no node found. it will not connect to inverter

The inverter is operating at the set speed in the forward direction.

System is at the commanded speed in the forward direction.

If you are connected to the inverter with COMBIVIS, go to parameter FR.01 and enter a value of -4. This will set all parameters back to factory default.

You may be having an issue with the inverters software verison. As long as the inverters are the same part number, you should be able to download the parameters without any issue. There may be some unknown parameters but you should be able to hit ignore and keep on downloading.

What software are you using

Did you download the bin and language files

What cable/operator are you using

Via Combivis, write a value of -4 to Fr.01. This will set all parameters back to the factory default values.

Then download your backup parameter file.

There are a few different cables that can be used depending on how the PC is connected to the inverter.

Does your inverter have an operator display with serial port?
Is there any type of communications protical being used? (Profibus, Devicenet, Interbus)

By default the F5-C inverter uses an analog signal for speed command.

Review the manual that was provided with the inverter for connection of signals.

If this inverter does not have default settings, you will need to determine how it is programmed.
