Lap top WI-FI does not work with this WBR-1310...no signal showing connections...however, did work a few days ago. Using HP laptop Pavilion.

Make sure you didn't accidentally hit or tap the wireless button as that shuts off all internet connecting abilities.

My WBR-1310 doesn't do wireless to my laptop.

theres a couple of version of this router http://www.dlink.com/products/default.aspx?pid=WBR-1310&tab=3 I'm using the manual from here http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=WBR-1310&rev=WBR-1310
on a working PC download and install this program http://www.xirrus.com/library/wifitools.php this will detect all the wireless signals being broadcast - see if the router is actually broadcasting - if it is detected on your PC then it may be that 1) the firewall is blocking access or 2) the security code is entered wrong - -log into the router and remove the wireless security and see if you can now detect

I HAVE A DLINK WBR-1310 ROUTER WHERE DOES THE BLUW

Hi!

You can use any UTP cables. Here is how the connection would look like:

DSL -> DLINK WAN PORT
DLINK PORT 1(or any other ports) <---> COMPUTER

If the router is set to give out IP addresses automatically(DHCP), you should be able to connect flawlessly.

Connection

Go to this site to download a manual to verify you have it setup right.
http://www.d-link.com/products/?tab=3&pid=WBR-1310&rev=WBR-1310
or try this first.
Power off your modem,D-Link and PC.
You need to have the cable that looks like a wide phone plug with 8 contacts instead of 4 (cat 5 cable) go from your comcast modem to the plug on back of the D-Link that is marked WAN.
Then plug a cat 5 cable into any of the 1 through 4 Lan ports on back of the D-Link to your PC's Ethernet port.
Then with all these powered off turn on the Comcast modem, wait a full 2 minutes for it to settle in. then turn on the D-Link give it 2 minutes then turn on your PC.
If that doesn't work for you refer to the manual or you have something broke that may require servicing in person by someone computer savvy.
Hope this helps.
