MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. If I understand you right, you bought some kind of MP3 player and it already had songs on it. Many players have some sample tracks already on when you buy the them. Also if you bought it from some other person, these are most likely his/her songs. You should just delete them if you don't like any. I can't give you specific instructions how to delete without knowing MP3 player model though.
It is totally fine for him to listen through the speakers. The mp3 for me wasn't that good, mostly because some of my songs would download and the mp3 player wouldn't play the songs. It would probably be fine for your 5 year-old, maybe the company thinks you have to be 8 and up to be careful and not brake an mp3. Other than that, I have no clue.
MP3 players cant be used with itunes, Itunes is only for Ipods and such.
Just see where you download the actual songs. and put them in a folder and copy the songs into your MP3 player.
Or you can also try right clicking on the song in itunes and then copying and pasting it in the MP3 player
1. Connect the MP3 player into different USB port of the computer and make sure that the computer could detect it. 2. If the computer does not detect it, use another computer. 3. Make sure that you have enough memory space in your MP3 player so that you could download songs. 4. Download songs that has .mp3 file format 5. Try different USB cable to isolate the problem.
NOTE: iPod is using different different file format, make sure that your MP3 supports that file format. If not, those songs will notplay in you MP3.
Some of the mpzik songs are in protected WMA format - the Coby player is so old that it doesn't recognize any DRM scheme past Windows 9 DRM. If you plan on continuing to use Mpzik, your Coby will only recognize the songs that are in mp3 format (or the rare few that have Windows 9 DRM protection). I would suggest using a music service that only provides songs in mp3 format.
The problem is that iTunes songs only work with iPods. If you pay extra, they will now let you download them in a format compatible with other players but I don't recommend using iTunes (or anything from Apple for that matter). Try Amazon MP3. The songs downloaded from there will work with any player under the sun and they're generally cheaper than iTunes. Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/MP3-Music-Download/b?ie=UTF8&node=163856011
You can use either Rhapsody or Windows Media Player to sync the files to your device.
most likely it requires windows media player version 10 or higher which unfortunately is not compatible with windows 98 so that way will not work. You may be able to bypass windows media player by going to the manufactuers website and downloading a specialized driver for windows 98 and then drag and dropping your music onto the pkayer if this doesn't work I am sorry
First, install the software if any that came with your mp3 player and connect your mp3 player. If you want to add music to your mp3 player you can sync with your media player or copy and paste songs from my music folder to your mp3 player that's under my computer. To delete songs or files just go to my computer, click on your device and you will see your files, just click on any ones and press delete on your keyboard. To download music for your mp3 player, you will have to pay for songs at most places like itunes. There is one site that is called LimeWire, just go to www.limewire.com, download and install the software. Let me WARN YOU, that limewire is ILLEGAL and there is stiff penalties if you get caught.
