Question about Sharp AR-M277 Black and White Copier
I have 2 computers networked into a Lanier 5445. The copier function is fine, but the print function is not printing. Out of the blue my main computer would not print a document, said the printer was busy/error, so I went to the 2nd computer and it printed just fine but the internet connection was gone. I have the internet connection back, but now neither computer will print. I have tried to re-boot both computers and the printer, unplugged and plugged in the network cables. I even disconnected the internet and tried to print, but that didn't work either. BTW when I asked for my computer to investigate the printer network, it says that the printer is not pinging. I really don't know what else I can do. Thank you, Tammy
Sounds like your machine is using DHCP, not a static IP address?
Print your network settings from the Printer, then try to Ping from a computer on the network.
Check the Network setting of the machine, make sure it is set to a fixed (static) IP Address.
If this is the problem, you can go into your PC printers port and change the port to the reassigned IP Address of the machine.
If you reinstall the drivers then you will have this installed twice, one will work one will not, so delete it from the printers folder before you reinstall before you reinstall

The "network printer busy" error might be caused in a network printer due to printer spooler issues, presence of malicious infections like virus, worms, etc. in the system. It could also be caused due to corrupted drivers, invalid network name in the printer, and uncaptured printer port by the printer driver in a network, corrupted regional settings for your system. It could be also due to sending of large files to the printer by another user or due to corrupted documents in printer queue.

Check the network IP address of your printer and change accordingly in your pc Printer and Faxes settings. Or once again install your printer to both your pc.
