I just purchased a hp presariov2000 notebook. It's got,AMD Turion mobile tech,broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN, net adaptor, WAN Miniport for Broadband. I have been trying to fogure out and connect but I don't know where to start. It says something about needing a WPA or WEC network key but I it finally allows me through it still doesn't connect even when it says it's aquiring a address. I need help
Do you have the CD setup disk, from your internet provider? Just put it in your optical drive, (CD/DVD),
follow the instructions, and let it configure this for you. With some internet providers, you laptop will have to be put on as a Second User from the Master Account. (AT&T, or SBC Global) The first computer to be hooked up to the internet, has the Master Account.
