Disconnect A/V jacks message appears

The above message appears anytime I try to change the channel. I have noticed that the front A/V jacks are loose and wondered if there was a way to disable them so that the T.V. will work properly again. Thanks for your time. Brad

How do I turn off pscan on a rca dro2oon DVD player

IMPORTANT:
If you don't have a Progressive Scan TV or you don't have the DVD player connected to the correct Input Jacks, and you activate Progressive Scan in the DVD player you won't see a picture! Don't panic-try the following:

First, press the PREV/VIDEO button on the front of the DVD player (it will go to the next video output option, which is an interlace output so a picture should appear on the TV screen). If that doesn't work, press and hold PREV/VIDEO button on the front of the DVD player for 3 seconds. Now, press the PREV/VIDEO button again (it will go to the next video output option, which is an interlace output so a picture should appear on the TV screen). If you still don't see a picture on your TV screen, make sure the yellow cable (provided) that is attached to white and red cable (called audio/video cables) is connected to the DVD player's PREV/VIDEO jack and the TV's Video Input jack. Change your TV channel to your TV's Video Input
channel that activates the TV's VIdeo Input jack where you have connected the yellow cable (page 9 of your manual has more information). This PREV/VIDEO jack on the DVD player always outputs interlace video, so you should see a picture on the TV screen.

As a last resort, you can reset the DVD player to the factory default settings:
Press and hold the STOP button on the remote control and the NEXT button on the front of the player at the same time - wait at least 5 seconds before you release both buttons

Lines at the top of screen

Check and replace all the electrolytic capacitors at its vertical output section. The lines you refer here are technically called, vertical retrace lines, and are mainly due to capacitors itself. Check all the solder terminals of vertical output IC for any loose solder terminals. Resolder all the suspected solder terminals by applying a little more solder to each point. When replacing capacitors stated above, replace them all at one time. There will be 5 of 6 numbers of them, the most, and wont cost more. If you wish to get more details, surf the following link. There are over two thousand and four hundred posts. All are related to television and other domestic electronic equipment service help. You can get a solution there. Type in the brand name to your device to its search box, can be located at the top right of the display window. It will make search easy. Can i connect juster speakers 675 to my dell laptop?

Plug the power transformer into the bottom jack on the back of the right-channel speaker. This is the speaker with the on/off knob on the front. 2 Plug the audio cable attached to the left-channel speaker into the audio jack on the back of the right-channel speaker. The jack is immediately above the jack for the power cord. 3 Plug the audio jack attached to the back of the right-channel speaker into the headphone jack on a laptop computer (usually located along the left edge), or to the audio output jack on the back of a desktop PC. 4 Plug the speaker transformer into a surge protector and the surge protector into a wall outlet. 5 Turn the on-off and volume control knob clockwise on the front of the right-channel Inspiron speaker to activate the stereo speakers and adjust the volume.

Sound delay when changing channel

Look for any loose contacts in RC jacks/sockets/Cable. Check your power outlet for any loose contacts. Try changing the input device to something you are sure, works such as a DVD player. If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

I just bought a used valveking 100 half stack and the 1st channel does not work, second channel works but seems to have a loose input jack as connection is intermittent and affected by wiggling the input...

Same thing... they probably broke both jacks. Sometimes the guts of the jack is broken and it doesn't appear to be broken but is broken internally. You may find broken solder on the pins to these jacks as well.

Note that the two input jacks have a different gain.
