Owned DJ Ditty for at least a year, never any problems. Now, when I plug it into my computer, I can view the data and media folders, but I can't open the media folder to get to the music folder. Therefore can't transfer music. When I try to open media folder, plus sign disappears and the computer screen is blank - as if Ditty is empty. But it isn't. Otherwise have no trouble w/ player, it is playing songs, just can't change via computer.
The computer must run on Xp not vista, windows 7 demos, or anything before.Ditty only use version 10 of Windows Media player if that is the program of choice. The computer might not regonize it.Try what he says(ThaMp3Doctor)

Windows Media Player 11 not compatible with this player.
The device doesn't know if it is a MTP or MSC device - in one of these modes, it will not allow access to the music folder. unfortunately, there is no way to switch between these two modes in the menu settings. Go to Control Panel - Device Manager - find MTP Deivce and update driver.
