You might need to check your RAM.

Look on both sides and the front of the laptop for the wireless switch.

Check with someone you know to see if they have a USB external CD or DVD drive that you can borrow. Then set it to boot from USB. There is also a possiblity that you have a corrupt CMOS fireware. See if you can download an BIOS firmware update and place it on a external floppy and install. Good Luck

you either loosened the cables going to the board for the keybboard and touchpad or have a briged solder joint.

Other way to restore ur notebook to factory default settings without recovery disks is

Acer: When you first turn on the laptop and see the Acer logo screen, hold the ALT key and press the F10 key (you need to do this before the Acer logo disappears).

U can make a new set of Recovery disk when ur OS is running u will see Acer Empowering Technology with e sign kindly select ERecovery in the options and then u can make full backup of ur OS thru it

Can u see bright screen when ur Ac adpator is pluged in.
if u can,
then,
change the battery setting in the power management options.

set use maximum battery option.

Try the Acer website and check the support for your model see if you get any where with that
