Lowrance lcx-18c exit button not working can not clear nav warning

If possible, try to restore the device to the newest firmware on it using your computer using this firmware:

OR
Do a soft reset. This may resolve your issues and will also keep your data on the device.
Do a soft reset by:
1. Having the device already off
2. Press and hold the PAGES key
3. Press and hold the PWR key
4. Release both buttons when the USA map appears

If neither of those work, try a hard reset. This will however delete all stored data off your device.
To do a hard reset:
1. Have device off
2. Press and hold the ZIN&ZOUT Keys at the same time
3. Press and hold the PWR key
4. Release both buttons when the USA map appears

If none of these work, contact Lowrance at 1-800-628-4487

I had the same problem with my handheld Lowrance Hunt C. After installing the card and locking it in place, I had to slide the card "out" toward the locking mechanism. It barely moves, but worked after that. Whenever I load the card, I now slide it out or wiggle it and it works every time.

I downloaded an updated version of software from lowrance. Once i installed the software it came back working like new.

here is the link to your the lowrance web site. the trouble shooting guide says that if you tried to it on another boat than you might need to take it in for service. but there is a section that explains how to do a soft reset on the unit. you might try that.

You need to get a MMC card for it to show Canada.

Unfortunaley i have a problem with mine also. I contacted Lowrance, and they no longer support or repair this unit.
